Here’s some more information on the area beyond where to buy Chalong kombucha!

• Chalong is a district located in the southeastern part of Phuket Island, and it’s primarily known for being a hub for boat trips and diving excursions to nearby islands – Chalong Pier gets very busy during the High Season (April-October)
• Chalong Bay is also a popular spot for yacht mooring and sailing, and there are several marinas in the area.
• If you look up from most parts of Phuket, you’ll see the Big Buddha – a truly monumental statue that you can actually go in, as it’s a working temple. The walk up “Big Buddha Hill” in the morning is definitely a highlight for the most active of you (just do it as the sun comes up so you’re not baking in the morning heat!). Also, take snacks for dogs you’ll meet along the way – they’re all friendly when the snacks come out! Oh, and also take an icy cold bottle of our Chalong kombucha WOW too – our brewery is in Chalong, so come and meet us!
• Chalong is home to Wat Chalong, one of the most important temples in Phuket, which features ornate architecture and beautiful gardens.
• The district has a diverse range of restaurants, cafes, and bars, serving both Thai and international cuisine, with a concentration of seafood restaurants along the waterfront.
• There are several shopping options in Chalong, including a large Tesco Lotus supermarket and the Chalong Night Market at the Villa Market complex near Chalong Circle, where you can find local food, souvenirs, and clothing. Tuesday Nights is better than the Monday night one, in my opinion (more food choices!)
• For fitness enthusiasts, Chalong has several gyms and fitness centers, as well as Muay Thai training camps, where visitors can learn the traditional Thai martial art.
• Chalong is located close to several beautiful beaches, including Nai Harn Beach and Rawai Beach, which are popular for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.
• The district is also home to the Phuket Zoo, which features a variety of animals and shows, including elephant rides and crocodile wrestling.
• Chalong is a convenient location for exploring other parts of Phuket, with easy access to major roads and transportation hubs such as the Phuket International Airport and the Phuket Bus Terminal.
