Here at KombuchaWOW one of our core values is based around protecting our environment, and we try and impart that with our Suppliers too. We work hard making Thailand’s best kombucha, but we work equally as hard in educating our Customers on how we are committed to environmental sustainability, which is why we have this official KombuchaWOW Environmental and Kombucha Sustainability Policy for you to see publicly.

Our kombucha brewery is based here in Phuket – an island with a stunning environment and beautiful natural resources that we want to help keep in good condition – for now, and for future generations to enjoy.

Our Customers care about the environment too, and we know they want us to carry on making the best business decisions that allow us to keep making great Phuket kombucha while minimising any effect to the island’s beaches and ecosystem and population.

To this end, here’s a list of our environmental sustainability commitments we undertake to this day. We reinforce these points with our Team and Suppliers with a high-priority, and demonstrate them to all our Customers.

Environmental and Kombucha Sustainability Commitments

• Purchasing locally-grown and organic ingredients from Thai Farmers to minimise carbon footprint of transporting ingredients to us
• Requesting Suppliers do not use plastic in their packaging of products we use in production
• Using glass bottles and metal bottle caps that can be recycled
• Not using any plastic in production of our kombucha such as containers, fermentation vessels or implements
• Using applicable environmentally-friendly chemicals in our brewery production and sanitation workflows
• Supporting and implementing waste reduction, reuse, recycling and resource recovery programs throughout the company at all levels
• Using sustainable packaging to our clients
• Bi-directional free dialogue and understanding with our customers and Staff on environmental issues – transparently and regularly reporting on our environmental performance
• Complying with all applicable Thailand, Phuket and local Tambon legal and regulatory requirements
